Bullet wound was seen on Benazir’s head
"ISLAMABAD: "There was a bullet wound I saw that went in from the back of her head and came out the other side," Bhutto's spokeswoman Sherry Rehman, who was involved in washing her body for burial, said.
The government blamed Bhutto's killing on al-Qaida and Taliban militants operating with increasing impunity in the lawless tribal areas along the border with Afghanistan."This is ridiculous, dangerous nonsense because it is a cover-up of what actually happened," Sherry Rehman said referring to government claim."
breaking - Remains may be exhumed - "The Pakistani government has no problem with officials from Benazir Bhutto's political party exhuming the slain opposition leader's body if they see a need to do so, an Interior Ministry spokesman said Saturday."

The Post-Bush Regime: A Prognosis by Richard K. Moore
"The neocons have accomplished much for their elite puppeteers, and have been given in return free reign to loot at will, funneling all those billions for the Iraq War into their own corporate coffers and investment portfolios. They for their part have established the foundations of a fascist state in the US and Canada, secured Iraq’s oil reserves, built permanent forward mega-bases in Iraq, successfullly destabilized Iraq and prepared it for balkanization, secured pipeline routes in Afghanistan, restored the profitable opium trade, and made progress toward achieving the first-strike capability that will be needed when the time comes to take on Russia and China. Quite a bundle of major achievements in a very short time indeed. But to our clique, the question always is, “What have you done for me lately, Sunshine?”
Rinaldi, 45, had taken part in every re-enactment of Washington's crossing of the Delaware since 1976, amassed more than 500 books on the American Revolution and earned a degree in U.S. military history.
But this year, he and his fellow re-enactors were done in by the river's strong currents."
Bush: Tax refunds could be delayed Blah Blah
I'll go on record here and suggest that we won't ever see tax refunds this coming year or any other year. But I'll hedge that a little, meaning the scumbags might wait until the dollar is worth exactly nothing and then give us our money, which is virtually the same thing.

They used axes to break windows on the third floor of the ornate building shortly after the blaze broke out after 9 a.m.
The fire started near the vice presidential offices, CNN's Kathleen Koch reported.
Fifteen firetrucks, including three ladder trucks, responded to the call."
Poll Shows More Optimism on War blares the Washington Post. A bizarrely optimistic headline if there ever was one. Since US military deaths are fast approaching (an official) 4000, never mind the suffering and carnage among Iraqis, and that the national treasury is being dumped into this bottomless cesspit of corruption, one wonders who the hell they're polling. Halliburton employees?
"Although a majority say the United States is not making significant gains toward restoring civil order in Iraq, the public's views are more positive than at this time last year. About four in 10 say the United States is making progress, an increase of 10 percentage points over last year.
Looking ahead to the new year, the public is somewhat more hopeful about the situation in Iraq. Forty-six percent said they are optimistic about the situation in Iraq in 2008, six points higher than in December 2006."
Classic propaganda. Despite overwhelming distaste with their rotten activities the MSM will try to paint debate in 'too close to call' balanced colors. The whole purpose of this exercise is to make you think that the tide is slowly beginning to change, that their asinine 'stay the course' attitudes will prevail at some point. That's the whole purpose of this garbage - to give the appearance of some "light at the end of the tunnel". Remember that phrase? It's meant to drag us all along with ongoing indefensible crime. It's meant to let the criminal scum feasting off this manufactured conflict stay at the banquet table while the military is ground down like hamburger and entire countries turn into radioactive morgues.
But here's the most important thing - this isn't a war. The US military has formally and illegally invaded and occupied two countries and is fighting the growing resistance to that occupation. That "war" appellation was slapped on their actions by criminal scum who engineered a self inflicted wound on 9/11, the opening kickoff of a grand game of conquest abroad and fascism at home. They knew that if you can convince people that if they're in a terrible fight then you can literally get away with murder. Which is why we're endlessly told this bloody murder amounts to war. That word appears no less than 18 times in this rotten piece of dead fish from the Washington Post.
This is the task of the ever loathsome MSM. Demonize the faceless enemy in this misnamed scam. Toss a few factoids about, distract the complacent masses with celebrity gossip and other meaningless tripe but never, ever venture outside established parameters of debate. Make sure those crucial a priori assumptions are rammed into peoples' heads with a repetition that would make Goebbels proud. And always kneel to power as they kiss their masters' backsides.
Mitt Romney to Buy Clear Channel Communications
"What would it cost to buy the support of just about every nationally-syndicated neocon talk show host in America? About $19.5 Billion, which is what Mitt Romney's private equity firm, Bain Capital, and Thomas H. Lee Partners have agreed to pay in a leveraged buyout agreement with Clear Channel Communications, the largest radio station owner in the country.
Clear Channel owns over 1,100 full-power AM, FM, and shortwave radio stations, twelve radio channels on XM Satellite Radio, and more than 30 television stations in the United States. Premiere Radio Networks, which is the largest syndication company in the United States, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Clear Channel and is home to Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, and many others. Sean Hannity recently signed a large multi-market contract with Clear Channel, as well."
Clear Channel was the monstrosity who, back in 2003, would have it's local stations surreptitiously sponsor War With Iraq Now! rallies with free food, then send their news teams over to cover them as breaking news.
Get set for a Romneypalooza when the flaming media whores get their marching orders. They know who signs their checks.

"This deal, even though not closed yet, could be significant. No candidate running for President of the United States at this time could boast such direct influence with the media. One has to wonder if the Romney campaign would make it publicly known that their candidate was tied to the above mentioned 1,100 radio stations 12 XM stations and 30 plus TV stations. Would these stations in the tradition of honest journalism mention their ties to Romney whenever a story about the 2008 Presidential race was discussed?"
Don't bet on it.

U.S. Refuses `Any Wounded Soldier' Mail
"Hundreds of thousands of holiday cards and letters thanking wounded American troops for their sacrifice and wishing them well never reach their destination. They are returned to sender or thrown away unopened.
Since the Sept. 11 attacks and the anthrax scare, the Pentagon and the Postal Service have refused to deliver mail addressed simply to "Any Wounded Soldier" for fear terrorists or opponents of the war might send toxic substances or demoralizing messages.
Mail must be addressed to a specific member of the armed forces — a rule that pains some well-meaning Americans this Christmas season."
