Chilean Volcano Could Spew Ash For Months

I'd be surprised if this eruption of Chile's Chaiten volcano doesn't add to the already assured food catastrophe that the world is going to face later this year. The effects could be similar to Mt. Pinatubo in 1991 that caused worldwide climate change. Add the loss of Myanmar's rice, the spreading wheat blight across southern Asia and the fact that 36% of honeybee colonies in the US are dead, and we've got a tough road ahead.
