Busy April For Murdering Arabs

69, including 20 children and 16 women, killed by Israelis in April in Gaza

"The Al Mezan Center for Human Rights issued a report on Sunday revealing that Israeli soldiers killed 69 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip in April. The Center added that among the killed residents were 20 children and 16 women.The Center reported that soldiers carried 30 invasions into the Gaza Strip in April and kidnapped 127 Palestinians, including 17 who are still in detention."

532 Iraqis Die In Two Weeks From US Shelling and Snipers

"Deaths and injuries are soaring in the Sadr City as U.S. troops increase their military and economic pressure on the city home to more than 2.5 million people.More than 532 people among them women and children have been killed in the past two weeks, hospital sources in the city said."

"GAZA, (PIC)-- Three more Gaza patients have died due to the IOF blockade that closed all crossings between the Gaza Strip and the outside world, the popular anti siege committee announced on Monday.Rami Abdo, the committee's spokesman, said in a statement that lack of proper medical treatment coupled with the closure of all crossings had led to the death of those three patients a child and two old women.He quoted medical sources as saying that the 13-year-old child Ismahan Al-Jaal was suffering from brain tumor and was denied travel through Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing by the Israeli occupation authority.They said that Zakia Saada, 59, died of a heart ailment while Nazmia Abed, 55, died of cancer."

Water crisis looming in Gaza due to Israeli blockade

"Gaza – Ma'an – About 70% of families living in the Gaza Strip receive water once every five days, and 30% have access to water only once every week, says Rami Abdu the spokesperson of the Popular Committee for Countering the Siege on the Gaza Strip.In addition, the drinking water in Gaza has become unsafe. Abdu said that 65% of the water network in Gaza is unable to operate normally to Israel's blockade of the Strip."

Unicef warns of Iraqis 'at risk'

"It is increasingly hard for Iraqi aid workers to help tens of thousands of people caught up in fighting in Baghdad, according to Unicef.
The Sadr City area of the capital has seen the worst clashes between government forces and Shia militia.
The UN children's agency says over 150,000 people there are having difficulty accessing clean water, food and other essential services.
The Iraqi government says almost 1,000 people have died in recent fighting.
Most of those have been civilians, and aid agencies say around 60% of them are women and children."
