This siutation should be exploited to expose the so-called "war on terror" for the pointless and pretensious fiasco that it is.

This case that Turkey has against the Kurds is no less relevant than any case the US makes against its own enemies. In fact, it is more releveant because it has more substance. The Kurds are right across the Turkish border, whereas the so-called Al Qaeda threat is on the other side of the world.

Any attempt the U. S. makes to prevent the Turks from retaliating against the Kurds will only further expose the U.S. imperialists for the double-standardized hypocrites that they are, and show the world just how selfish the U.S. war on terror really is.

Yup, it's the most stark and clear situation that shows why the US should get the hell out of Iraq. If this happens the whole region could erupt and our expeditionary force could find itself trapped and under siege, if not in direct military confrontation with a NATO ally.
