Edwards Stumps Simworld
A few days ago a fellow acting for the John Edwards campaign opened up an office in Second Life. As others have pointed out, it's not the first time that pols lived in a fantasy world. Interesting concept, though.
I tried the virtual community for a while. If anybody hasn't done so you can jump in for free and take a look around to see if you want to invest more time and energy. To me it's amusing how you can change your avatar to suit your tastes, fly around and engage in quirky interaction with other players, but the inner geek lost interest pretty quickly.
I wonder how long it'll be before the brownshirt brigade sends their bots in to harass the place.
And what happens if Edwards wins in Second Life but loses otherwise?
