The British government immediately warns media organizations "they are breaking the law if they publish details". Several civil servants "were charged last Thursday under Britain's Official Secrets Act with making a damaging disclosure of a document relating to international relations."
The Daily Mirror editor says "We were astonished, 24 hours later, to be threatened with the Official Secrets Act".

In 2001, the station's Kabul office was hit by U.S. bombs and in 2003 Al Jazeera reporter Tareq Ayyoub
was killed in a U.S. strike on its Baghdad office. The United States has denied deliberately targeting the station.

The British government is threatening to punish the media for exposing the fact that the American government wanted to punish the media.

Little boots engaged in his conversations with Bliar on April 16 of last year at a White House summit, just as his legions were attacking Fallujah in Iraq for the first time. Is it possible that they wanted to keep Al Jazeera from reporting the use of white phosphorous and other war crimes?
