And then, in November of that year, it all came crashing down. A homosexual prostitute, Mike Jones, angry at Haggard’s opposition to same-sex marriage, alleged that Haggard had been a client for several years and had also purchased methamphetamines from him."

These are self serving scum who from the very start of their predatory career wanted fame and fortune from their shameless church ventures. The most important thing for them when his cock and drug fetishes got press was how to manage the public relations and plan a comeback.

It's a great hustle, this jeebus fraud, preying on fearful, simple minded and trusting people, telling them what they want to hear and raking in the dough. If you're living high on the hog with your "ministry" and happen to get busted for wild sex/banned substances/money fraud, no need to worry. Forgiveness is easy enough to come by, it just takes a little time and effort because come on, wasn't Jeebus all about forgiveness? Even Jim Bakker, with rape allegations and convictions for fraud and years of prison time, rose from the dead to get a new TV ministry. All it takes for these parasites is to pour their hearts out about spiritual transformation and new beginnings and forgiveness and they're back in business.
