Felis Über Alles

We got adopted by a young female just before a fierce storm last week. I had seen her getting water from the bird bowl and pitifully trying to get her paw into the scrapings pan under the BBQ, but she kept her distance. Finally I guess she was so hungry she approached the Mrs and did her cat rubby thing. The cold wind was picking up, in she came and that was that.
I didn't realize how emaciated she was until I picked her up. Now that she's relaxing and putting on weight she's assumed her rightful place at the top of the pecking order.

Thanks anon. She has some nice qualities and is a good looker. Had her spayed yesterday.
One thing I've come to realize after 30 years with them is that you need 2 cats, 3 being optimal, because they need to bounce off of feline companionship as well as human. So there's nothing else to do now but adopt a young male.
