Forecast: US Dollar Could Plunge 90%

"A financial crisis will likely send the U.S. dollar into a free fall of as much as 90 percent and gold soaring to $2,000 an ounce, a trends researcher said."
We are going to see economic times the likes of which no living person has seen," Trends Research Institute Director Gerald Celente said, forecasting a "Panic of 2008."

The only questions are how far and how fast. A lot of people are speculating that the collapse will be started by an attack on Iran but I believe it will be the other way around. We're in the financial bus plunge right now; an explosion of war in the middle east will most likely begin when it won't matter if there's a worldwide oil shock. But that's all speculation. The dollar's collapse is well under way and we're in uncharted waters.

Thankfully, I've learned to get by without an automobile and have been riding a mountain-bike now for over a decade.

But the heating bills this winter are already soaring.
