that one gave me a chuckle. all the hoopla over one statement. granted, it was an insensitive and stupid one, but we all do it at times. with the crap that spews out of the savages and o'reilly's daily, imus is suddenly the trophy boy.
sigh. i wish we'd start talking about this shit rather than pointing the finger while ignoring the elephant under the rug on which we stand.
Here's my take on the Imus flap, Neener. He and his buddy actually didn't mean harm. They thought they were being witty and snarky as usual. But it's a symptom of how rotten, stale and putrid talk radio has gotten that these rich white guys are so comfortable in their position that they could feel free to say such caustically insensitive remarks. I hope the other scum talkers take notice.
Funny how they're trying to sell these stuffed things as supporting free speech, jeebus.
