Our 2 year old "wild guy" male called Smudge disappeared out the door last Tuesday night, throwing a "Don't wait up for ME!" look over his shoulder...we haven't seen him since...probably a coyote got him as there are some prowling our neighbourhood at night.
Rest in peace, Smudge.

oh my goodness what a beautiful story. just beautiful. and so true. although i gotta say - little ones know how to love, too. the world seems bent on knocking it out of us. or the system i shall say. but still a beautiful story.
