Police beat and taser 'gentle' mentally-ill homeless man to death
"A shocking video has been released allegedly showing police officers tasering and beating a homeless man to death who they claim was resisting arrest.
Though the video is not clear, eye witnesses say the homeless man - Kelly Thomas, 37 - was unable to put up any resistance and was lying on the ground on his front when the attack took place on July 5.
His screams and cries for his father can be heard amid the tasering noises."

Mark Turgeon, who was there, said: 'They kept beating him and tasering him. I could hear zapping, and he wasn't even moving.
'He had one arm in front of him like this, he wasn't resisting. And they kept telling him, "He's resisting, quit resisting", and he wasn't resisting.'
I have the distinct impression that this is widespread policy, to use maximum force to teach lessons in acquiescence. The number one crime in america is now insufficient passive submission to increasingly thuggish police behavior, apparently punishable by death.
I'm disgusted by the onlookers' passivity. People in other countries don't tolerate such brutish treatment of their fellow citizens. At some point, it won't be too long from now and I guarantee it's coming, there will be street justice when citizens recognize that greater good supercedes abject submissiveness to barking fuckwads with badges.

This is why they insist upon disarming and banning all instruments and tools that can be used as weapons. But they can't ban stones.
If I was there, I would have picked up the biggest stone I could find and use it on those fascist pigs. If a hundred citizens decided to do the same, those cops wouldn't stand a chance.
You're absolutely right Nz. I've seen way too many videos now where dullards stand around while people are assaulted and hurt badly, even killed, or they're too busy trying to get it all on tape to post to youtube.
That soccer vid when people poured out of the stands to stop security from seriously hurting that overzealous fan pretty much sums it up.
