Collapsing Economy Working Like A Charm

Jobless flock to sign up for the military

"NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- The nation's armed services wrapped up a record year for recruiting as a withering job market and bigger bonuses trumped two unpopular wars.
The Department of Defense said it met or exceeded recruitment goals for all branches of the armed services for fiscal year 2009, which ended Sept. 30, for the first time since 1973, when the draft ended and U.S. forces withdrew from Vietnam."

Yep, working like a charm alright. When Bush said he wished the US was a dictatorship, this is how him and Cheney planned to get their way.

See, whether or not they tell you before you enlist, because the truth is, they don't directly come right out and say it, the military is not a democracy, and once you enlist in it, you are surrendering your rights to a beast that serves a collective corporate tyranny and has no sympathy for the individual whatsoever.

They've been several steps ahead of us every step of the way to transform this country into an authoritarian hell. Just when they'll need thousands of warm bodies the depression kicks in. Meanwhile they've outsourced much of the dirty work to mercenaries, so you won't be able to say it's really martial law, and it's all been done because we're in an undeclared perpetual war where legality is perpetually fuzzy.
