Canada denies paying Taliban to safeguard troops
"Canadian authorities are vigorously denying a published report suggesting the military paid Taliban insurgents not to attack Canadian troops in Afghanistan.
The allegations were from the news agency Agence France Presse, which quoted unnamed Afghan and western officials saying that the practice of paying insurgents not to attack, was widespread among NATO coalition forces, including Canadians."

It was only when the country was invaded and occupied by americans and their cohorts that opium manufacturing reached record numbers, year after year. Why should we now all of a sudden believe that the Taliban gets it's money from drug production?
Fighting an endless "war" in Afghanistan is a cover for western countrol of 90% of the world's heroin. The perpetuators have to make sure there are enough "enemies" to keep the facade going for the mouthbreathers to believe the lies. Aside from bribes to influence the Taliban's behavior where the money goes directly into making sure they can continue to operate, murderous airstrikes are designed to make sure there's enough sickened outrage among the Afghans to swell their ranks. Genocide is simply doing business for the monsters, and business is very, very good.
