Poll: Why Is Bush’s Approval Still So Amazingly High?

"How does Pres. Bush do it? If the polls accurately reflected his job performance, not to mention the disregard for him among the public, his polling would be minus 32."

This has been a ongoing puzzlement for a couple of years until it dawned on me how the lying pollsters play the game. That the ratings continue to drop constantly is no secret - what they do is as soon as the polling nears 20% or so they reset the numbers back up to around 35% and start all over again.

i noticed that as well. this ongoing blah blah of "his numbers keep slipping" from the media. well ok, duh then, he should, by now, have a zero approval rating. but interestingly enough, it continues to hover around 30%.

is that what is known as "fuzzy" math?

President Harry Truman holds the record for the lowest approval rating. Depending upon the source, he was down to 24 or 23 or even 22 per cent, thanks to the Korean War. It's hard to believe that Shrub with his Iraq disaster hasn't set a new record.
