Information Warfare

There's no better example of truth being the first casualty of war than the carnage in the middle east. I flip on the television occasionally now not to get"news", but to see the latest propaganda slant. On the net the discussion groups are chock full of shills spouting bullshit.

"Israel’s Government has thrown its weight behind efforts by supporters to counter what it believes to be negative bias and a tide of pro-Arab propaganda. The Foreign Ministry has ordered trainee diplomats to track websites and chatrooms so that networks of US and European groups with hundreds of thousands of Jewish activists can place supportive messages."

I've found these sites can give me a sense of reality. Most are filed while the missiles are falling and they have some electricity.
