Not So Depleted Uranium - Poison Dust

Call it the most egregious, despicable aspect of the Empire's push to control the world.
Since the first gulf slaughter the US military has been tipping their bullets and missiles with DU because of it's high density. When it explodes a large portion of it is aerosolised, and breathing that in can make you get cancer and die.

The military knows it's sending the soldiers into a deadly environment, and does it anyway.
"And what about our soldiers? Terry Jemison of the Department of Veterans Affairs reported this week to the American Free Press that "Gulf-era veterans" now on medical disability since 1991 number 518,739, with only 7,035 reported wounded in Iraq in that same 14-year period.
This week the American Free Press dropped a "dirty bomb" on the Pentagon by reporting that eight out of 20 men who served in one unit in the 2003 U.S. military offensive in Iraq now have malignancies. That means that 40 percent of the soldiers in that unit have developed malignancies in just 16 months.
"
Depleted Uranium - Dirty Bombs, Dirty Missiles, Dirty Bullets

Not only are large swaths of the earth from Afghanistan to the Balkans to the Middle East now permanently poisoned, but the pawns of the Empire are left to sicken and die, many times after bringing the stuff back to this country where they sicken their families and partners. The US military has waged 4 nuclear wars in the last 15 years - Yugoslavia, Afghanistan and twice in Iraq.

Your tax dollars at work.

instead of the nice little decorative images the news media uses behind the words "conflict in iraq", they ought to instead begin using pictures like this. if american news watchers received a dose of these pictures on a daily basis, this friggin war would have been over long ago.

I agree so much with your thoughts.
Our shiny barbarism constantly needs to be polished.
Plus they will never admit that what they're doing can even cause these horrific deformities, ala agent orange.
