"A massive heatwave in Russia and the current devastating floods in Pakistan could be linked by the unusual behaviour of the jetstream, scientists believe.
The jetstream is the high-altitude wind that circles the globe from west to east and normally pushes a series of wet but mild Atlantic lows across Britain.
But meteorologists who study the phenomenon say that it is producing unusual holding patterns which keep weather systems in one place and produce freak conditions."

When the jet stream is held in one place it traps the weather systems that are caught between its meanders. Warm air is sucked north to the ‘peaks’ while cold air travels to the ‘troughs’.
Professor Mike Blackburn of the University of Reading believes that a blocked jetstream could be behind a heatwave in Japan which killed 60 and the sudden end to warm weather in the UK."

"The stream has split in two. One arm has gone north, another south. The patch in the middle is Russia's drought. A circulating pattern of air has been sitting over Russia for far longer than normal, causing the extreme temperatures and wildfires they've had there. But what's happening over Pakistan is even stranger. The southern arm of the Jet stream has looped down so far it has crossed over the Himalayas into north western Pakistan. Experts at the Met Office tell me this is very unusual. And the result is that the fast moving jets stream winds high up has helped suck the warm, wet, monsoon air even faster and higher into the atmosphere - and that has caused rains like no-one can remember. It has turbo charged the monsoon if you like. They're not sure that's ever happened before.

dunno much about HAARP, but the condition of the jetstream could be linked to the Deep Water Horizon disaster in the Gulf.

My theory is that this whole climate change thingy is a shake down. In fact I think most of what's happening on the geopolitical scene at any given time is a shake down.
In this case, HAARP is being used as a weather weapon against countries such as Russia, China and Iran who won't play ball with the PTB.
There is a lot of talk about a "carbon tax" but that's just payola for the PTB to NOT visit these countries with HAARP-related catastrophies.
The evil-doers have reached their "end times" and are truly desperate to get their agenda on track...it has been seriously delayed by the difficulties in the Iraq and Afghanistan occupations.
BTW, we have had almost "perfect" weather on the Pacific West Coast (so far this summer)...we must be all paid up : )

The psychopathsw are indeed HAARPing anybody they feel needs a little prodding, like the Haitians for example. Or Russia and China to get behind the nuking of Iran.
I also feel it's a larger psy op war against the world, "order out of chaos" and all that garbage.
to greencrow: While most of the Pacific Westcoast is having "good weather", the city of San Francisco continues to have seasonally colder, cooler, cloudier and even some light drizzle rain weather that started in June and has repeated this pattern since about 2004. Actually the weather in San Francisco during the summer in and in general has gotten worse.
It's quite noticeable if you drive just a few miles outside of SanFran, like over the Golden Gate Bridge or the Oakland Bay Bridge, then the temp shoots up almost 10 to 15 degrees, just like that.
someone is definitely (and has been) microtargeting the City of San Francisco because they just hate all the gays and lesbians and especially the City of San Francisco's Mayor, Board of Supervisors, and political activists many of whom have been pushed out of SF because it's just too damn expensive and many Dems have lost their jobs.
It's amazing if you go to the top of Mt. Tamalpais, and look at SF, SF is crowned by a small sea of clouds, almost always this summer, they 've the coordinates plugged in by using the communication Sutro Tower based near Twin Peaks.
So if you come to visit the city of SF, be sure to bring your warm ski parka, down jacket and thermal underwear, you'll need it!
