Barack Hussein Obama, Sr. (4 April 1936 − 24 November 1982) was a Kenyan senior governmental economist, and the father of the 44th President of the United States Barack Obama. He is a central subject in his son's memoir, Dreams from My Father.

Lolo Soetoro (1935- 2 March 1987) was the Indonesian stepfather of Barack Obama, the 44th President of the United States of America.

I don't know about Obama, but I for one would never confuse my father for my grandfather.
