Pathologically Sick "Chosen Ones" And Their Samson Option

Samson Option - where the zionists will destroy as much of the world as possible, as in being the ultimate suicide bomber, if they think they'll never prevail in military confrontation.

Brave Little Israel 'May Have To Wipe Out Europe'

"Noted Israeli military historian Martin Karfeld stated that Israel could find itself one day forced to exterminate the European continent using all kinds of weapons including its nuclear arsenal if it felt its demise neared, stressing that Israel also considers Europe a hostile target.
This came in a press interview broadcast by the seventh Hebrew radio and was translated on Wednesday into Arabic by the press information analysis and study center.
“We have hundreds of nuclear warheads and missiles that can reach different targets in the heart of the European continent, including beyond the borders of Rome, the Italian capital,” Karfeld said, adding that most of the European capitals would become preferred targets for the Israeli air force.
The Israeli historian reiterated Israel’s ability to destroy the whole world whenever it felt its existence would be doomed to extinction.
As for the Palestinians, the historian said that Israel at the present time pursues a specific strategy based on mass deportation of the Palestinian people and has intentions to expel all Palestinians without exception, but it is awaiting the right moment to take this step.
“Two years ago, there was only seven to eight percent of the Israelis believing in this solution towards the Palestinians and just two months ago this percentage rose amongst the Israelis to 33 percent, but today, according to a survey conducted by Gallup institute, this figure surged to 55 percent,” he noted.
The historian highlighted that Israel must take advantage of any incident that would give it a golden opportunity to expel the Palestinians as happened in Deir Yassin massacre in 1948.
Replying to a question whether Israel does not have fears of being classified as a criminal state if it expelled Palestinians, he said, “Israel is a state that does not care about what others say about it and you must remember the saying of former defense minister Moshe Dayan when he said that ‘Israel must always act as a wild dog because it should be dangerous in the eyes of others, rather than be harmed.’”

1st off, would like to say, i love your blog & visit thru every few days at the minimum ...

On this particular news item however, there have been quite a few misreports, errors & fallacies that have systematically been re-delivered throughout the internet blogosphere, without the appropriate fact-checking . Apparently, as is want to occur with translations of translations, items of consequence are often copied down either in the wrong tense, frame of reference or placement in the subsequent text . This is especially true when reporting & translating from a verbal source, such as in this case .

Anyway, here are the particulars:
1) the military historian's name is actually Martin van Creveld . He was formerly a professor at the Hebrew University & has lectured or taught at many strategic study centers throughout the West, including the US Naval War College .

2) the radio station reported as 'seventh hebrew' would actually in fact be Arutz 7, a hebrew-only station .
My own hebrew being extremely poor to say the least, i was not able to ascertain whether or not Mr. van Creveld had recently given an interview on it or not, but if you know of anyone who can read hebrew fairly well, here is their website, & a search could be conducted if one wanted to :
http://www.inn.co.il

3) judging from the text itself, it would appear however that this was not a recent interview & that this information was simply a rehash of a 2003 article that appeared in The Guardian (UK) :
http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2003/sep/21/israelandthepalestinians.bookextracts
What would make this conclusion all the more obvious is that early reports on this story on the internet actually referred to the PM as Sharon, which of course hasn't been the case since the end of '05 .

4) van Creveld himself, in other words, shouldn't himself be made the bad guy ( not that you were implying so, but other stories out there were ). He was simply stating the inherent tendencies & strategic mind-think within the upper echelon of the israeli military .
(or at least it was in 2003, & presumably still is ). And he, if anyone, should know .

Now the upshot of all this in terms of what was actually SAID & why, would perhaps be quite a bit more ominous than the recent (&very poor) misreporting suggested . At the time, in '03, few media channels, at least major ones, really picked up the story . The most appalling consideration in my opinion, is that this isn't simply one solitary military nut-case babbling away nonsensically, but would in fact appear to actually BE the de-facto state ideology .
And to this point, EVERYONE, needs to wake up & start rethinking why the hell we should continue to support this .
[ In the last few years, the US has given more military aid, over ten-times as much in fact, to Israel as opposed to NATO ]
