Shoes Are Flying

Protester throws shoe at IMF boss

'A protester threw a shoe at IMF Director Dominique Strauss-Kahn during a conference at a Turkish university.
The man threw his white sports shoe and ran toward the speaker's platform shouting "IMF get out".
The shoe bounced off another student's head but missed the IMF chief before landing beside him on the speaker's platform.
Some students applauded. Mr Strauss-Kahn moved to the side, and a security guard rushed to protect him.
Mr Strauss-Kahn looked puzzled as the shoe landed next to him on the platform.
Guards quickly pushed the shoe-thrower to the floor, covering his mouth with their hands and then dragged him from the hall. The conference was cut short and the hall evacuated. "
"Police detained some 20 students who shouted outside the conference centre "IMF get out, this country is ours."

More power to the shoe-throwers! The world needs more of them now!

I'd like to see a triangulation of shoes, sort of like at Dealey Plaza, so they really nail their targets.
