I am not sure how something can be so funny and yet so frightening at the same time.
These people have given up thinking for themselves. They've allowed Faux to do their thinking for them.
What's frightening is all their hatred towards Obama when he's basically perpetuated all of Bush's policies and then some. It's literally Bush's 3rd term but all of a sudden, now that a democrat regime is in place, it's horrible beyond calculation. Where were these mouthbreathers for the last 8 years, Lesley?

Racism is alive and well and thriving in America. It's disguised in a graphic of President Obama pictured as The Joker character in The Dark Knight. It's the word "Socialist" as code for "the N word."
It also seems a growing number of Americans are too stupid or lazy to think for themselves so they have the buffoons on Fox News or the raving psychotic Glenn Beck, do it for them.
These people fear and often hate everyone and everything different from and outside their narrow worlds. They blame everything they believe is worng in life on the government and/or "those people" ("those people" being just about every race, ehthnicity, religion, political or sexual orientation different from theirs).
Given the religious context underlying so much of this robotic fear and hatred, I imagine Christ weeping in heavan at his Father's side. I often wonder if He regrets having been born human and trying to save us.
nick - it was fascism's finest hour to delude the proles into supporting policies that directly harmed them. Faux and the lying bloviators are paid handsomely to keep them confused and ignorant.
Very much agree purrlgurrl. Hatred toward Obama is driven by that largely unstated racism. There's really no other reason for this outpouring of vitriol when he's just continuing the previous administration's stuff. Murdoch's vile bunch must have salivated when Obama became president, knowing they could point to the black man as the cause for so much unease in the country today.
