Greater Depression

California unemployment rate climbs to 11.9 pct.

"SAN FRANCISCO – California's unemployment rate climbed to 11.9 percent in July, the highest number in modern record-keeping.
That's an increase from 11.6 percent in June and considerably higher than the jobless rate of 7.3 percent a year ago
."

And of course it's a lie, with governments desperately trying to put happy spins on all the breathtaking statistics, much like the sunny forecasts that infest the newswires. Jobless numbers are far higher and up in great depression territory. Basically double the amount the state and federal governments are trying to sell and you'll get closer to the truth.
