It's a pathology, isn't it?
I worked with two young guys for a couple of years several years ago, and saw firsthand how once you go down that obsessive networking road, you're toast.
I don't even use a cell phone unless I'm forced to.
i'm frankly fed up with people coming into my home and texting away, answering their cell phones, etc. i'm ready to put up a "cell phone/text messaging-free zone" sign. it's so fucking rude. and add dangerous when it's behind the wheel of a car or bike.
