Not Just Historic But Prophetic

A brilliant emotional book that sure doesnt pull any punches-as many books as I have read in my life I admit to being way behind on "literature" type books-but this is one I will never forget -the only other "lit" author I think I have read every one of his books is Dostoevsky-also a prophetic genius -thanks so very much for posting this! I always wondered to myself when it might be time to pull a "Cato" (also many others from history in this category) and one of the times I chose was when they shut the libraries down-best to you and the Mrs as always!! sorry for the overlong comment-but it makes me laugh how hard the MSM is trying to hide the real misery that is out there-every frikkin day on Yahoo news (and its so funny how they always have to backtrack) recession over one day-then ooops its gonna be around awhile the next-sheeesh:-)

The intensely difficult job for MSM is to lull us to sleep while we suffer as a society, no mean feat.

Grapes is one of my favorite movies on a lot of levels, Devin. For one thing it's a tour de force for the actors involved who clearly had a strong motive to express the desperate pathos of the times. But the biggest thing to repeatedly view the flick for me is to remind myself just how lucky we are today to have what we have. Those people were hurting beyond comprehension and it could happen again in a heartbeat, so we better get ready.
