Obama allows short-term CIA sites

"Amid praise for US President Barack Obama’s decision to close the Guantanamo Bay prison, the Washington Times has reported a loophole in the president’s executive order closing Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) ‘black sites’ – a little-noticed exception that allows the spy agency to continue to operate temporary detention facilities abroad."

Looks like he might disappoint a whole lot of Californians and pro-medical marijuana people also, after they basically carried him for promising to stop the DEA raids.

If he were really smart, he'd stop being afraid of looking like too-soft-on-drugs-Carter and start looking for ways to channel the multi-billion dollar drug-war chest into programs to help Americans instead of making the vampires and vultures fatter.
