Bloodied And Dying Gazans Hunt For Cover

"AS ISRAELI forces attacked Gaza by land, sea and air, residents living in the congested coastal strip faced a fateful question: should they flee the shelling and shooting, or hole up inside their homes and hope for the best?

The five-member al-Jarou family decided to make a break for it around midday on Sunday. They abandoned their home in the Shaaf neighbourhood east of Gaza City and dashed by car to a relative's house about two kilometres away, thinking it would be safer.

For a while, it was."

I have a hard time finding any joy in life while children like these are killed and their parents are filled with grief. I look all around me at these self-absorbed Americans with their blackberries and full bellies from the holiday season and want to shout at them. Children people, children.

I've gotta tell you Pugs, this is hitting me hard too. The Israelis have pulled these death orgies far too many times, and this one is blatant beyond all measure. WE support them every time with endless money and the newly elected Suddenly Silent One shows we're headed down the same terrible road. My next post will be about what little we can possibly do but it's depressing and could get very, very bad very soon.
