Gaza Back To Concentration Camp Status

After that brief burst of freedom the prisoners are back in their cell, Israel starts collective punishment again and somebody had a little "talk" with the Egyptians.

Egypt threatens to break the legs of Gaza infiltrators
"CAIRO (AFP) - Egypt said on Thursday it would no longer tolerate Palestinians infiltrating the country from the Gaza Strip, and threatened to break the legs of anyone crossing the Rafah border illegally."

Gaza needs not met
"Gaza : Some 37 trucks carrying supplies made it into Gaza from Israel Thursday, but the Office of the United Nations Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process (UNSCO) noted that while that is an improvement, it is far from what is required to meet current needs."

Israel makes small cut in Gaza's electricity supply
"JERUSALEM, Feb 8 (Reuters) - Israel said on Friday it had cut electricity supplies to Gaza as part of a campaign against militant attacks but stressed the reduction was minimal, amid international criticism."

Ahh yes, those "rocket attacks". Those oh so convenient excuses to collectively punish over a million trapped arabs and pound them with air strikes. If rockets are being fired into Israel I believe Israeli opereratives are launching the things to justify the brutal treatment of the palestinians. Funny how they never seem to do much damage and everything we know about them comes from Israeli sources. Funny also how the palestinians are supposed to be constantly provoking the IDF to brutally retaliate.

Here is another from Ynetnews that supposedly landed near a building:

Isn't it more than a little strange that these "rocket attacks" that provoke such vicious response from Israel invariably land in the desert or do little or no damage?
In what could be seen as a tacit admission that the zionists are phonying up this supposed threat, it's reported today that Israel is complaining to the UN about Gaza:

"JERUSALEM (AFP) — Israel has sent a letter of protest to the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon over being targeted by rocket fire from the Gaza Strip, which continued on Saturday.
In the letter, also sent to the UN Security Council, Israel's ambassador to the United Nations, Dany Gillerman, said the attacks constituted "serious terrorist actions against Israel," the foreign ministry said."

It's got to be understood that Israel has historically pissed on the UN, defying resolution after resolution regarding their treatment of the palestinians. For them to go to the world body and complain is a joke, but one which shows two things. It's obviously a fig leaf as justification to further commit atrocities and more ominously it may be setting the stage for a massive invasion of Gaza, pretending to play the diplomatic route with other objectives in mind.
A little further down that AFP link above, the usual ambiguities are reported:

"Meanwhile, an army spokesman said Israeli aircraft had carried out a raid Saturday morning on the northern Gaza Strip town of Beit Hanun, against Palestinians preparing to fire rockets.
Palestinian medics and witnesses said two members of the Popular Resistance Committees had been wounded in the incident.
Even so, the army said two rockets did hit southern Israel, without causing any casualties or damage. It was not clear exactly where the source of the fire was."
