Republicans Report Much Better Mental Health Than Others
Gallup - "Republicans are significantly more likely than Democrats or independents to rate their mental health as excellent, according to data from the last four November Gallup Health and Healthcare polls. Fifty-eight percent of Republicans report having excellent mental health, compared to 43% of independents and 38% of Democrats."
Many with mental illnesses don't believe they're sick -"If there is one single obstacle to treating people with mental illness, it's that a large number of them don't believe they're sick at all.
It's not everyday defensiveness that makes them this way, said Dr. Xavier Amador, a clinical psychology professor at Columbia University.
It's because their brains are broken."

That was my first reaction to that story, too. My second reaction was that Republicans aren't driven to distraction trying to reason with Republican "logic," as Democrats are.
Very, very true. And as long as we're dissecting the torture enthusiasts and putting them under a microscope, we must investigate why their cognitive dissonance and thumping hypocrisy doesn't make their pinheads explode.
