China Exporting More Poison
More reason to brush with baking soda, a beneficial and natural salt that has a million and one other uses besides cleaning your teeth. This of course comes on the heels of the poisoned wheat gluten from China that killed so many pets this year.
"DANYANG, China, May 21 — Chinese authorities are investigating whether two companies from this coastal region exported tainted toothpaste as more contaminated product, including some made for children, has turned up in Latin America.

i stopped buying otc t-pastes a few years ago and began using this awesome product that uses calcium carbonate as the abrasive--cleanses even better than baking soda. uncle harry's. AWESOME stuff--no chemicals, no fluoride. it's a powder so kind of messy but i wouldn't use anything else.
i also remember an article a year or so ago about buying commercial tpastes at dollar tree type stores. many came from out of the country and weren't checked or approved by the fda.
Sounds like something to give a look at, thanks Nina.
