The war on war photos and photojournalists is all the rage with the wingnut bunch. I think they have to attack the evidence of gruesome war crimes to minimize their impact. It's also handy to demonize the victims to justify what's being done to them. Apologists for Israel were all over the Reuters photographer who added smoke plumes to a Beirut picture.
So which is the greater crime - bombing a residential area with little children or making a child stand next to a bomb for a picture?
