Just to Reiterate about the Day Before 9/11

When there is political or corporate bad news it's invariably released late on a friday.
Why, someone might ask?
Most people in the country have their noses to the grindstone on weekdays and look forward to putting that aside to attend to personal matters on the weekend. Hence the news organizations place their emphasis on frivolities and sports and matters of substance take the back burner. Forget about the TV talking heads on sunday - their job is to complete the obfuscation process through propaganda and trivialization.
So by monday that ugly news, whether it's scandal, political chicanery or corporate crimes, is old news. Outpaced by other stuff, it'll stay on the back burner of public consciousness and voila! Nothing to see here, we've got to move on.
