Reuters doing its part to make Iran the villain

"Reuters: Iran says will hit any country used to strike its soil

"Any spot used by the enemy for hostile operations against Iran will be subjected to retaliatory aggression by our armed forces"

Fair enough, as wars go. Reuters begins by saying that Iran will strike back at any source of enemy fire, which would of course include US bases in ME countries. It's obvious the US doesn't have bases there for no reason. It has been planning a confrontration with Iran for a long, long time.

But read the final paragraphs of the Reuters article, where the perception is shifted to that of Iran striking US bases and the US having to fire back in "self defence".

That's what is called creative writing. Always end with the mental picture you want to instill."
