Paint Splatters And Burnt Tacos Again Wow The Gullible
Cross revealed inside tree trunk at church

"SAN DIEGO - Landscapers chopping down a pine tree at an Escondido church discovered the shape of a cross throughout the trunk.
"I was like wow we stumbled on something here," said owner of Star Landscaping Jim Rants. "It's God and mother nature working together."
The tree was being removed because it was leaning and about to fall. During the process, landscapers took notice of the stumps which seem to be engraved with tree sap in the shape of crosses.
"I see Jesus on the cross with his arms out stretched," said Pastor Phil Corr with The First Congregational Church of Escondido.
The pine stumps have made national headlines with religious believers from North Carolina and Florida wanting to buy the wood.
"To see something like this on church property around Thanksgiving time seems to be more than a coincidence," said Pastor Corr.
The tree stumps will be showed to the congregation during Sunday's service. They will also be displayed during the church's upcoming 125th anniversary party.
"I think these kinds of things can be caused by God to encourage believers by pointing them to the real cross with the real Jesus," said Pastor Corr."
I spent decades in the xmas tree business, fighting forest fires and cutting firewood for sale and home use. I guess I could have become a rich man selling all the "holy" fantasy patterns to religious rubes that I found in the wood I cut up.
