Firefighters did the Christian thing in letting house burn to the ground
"The fire department did the right and Christian thing. The right thing, by the way, is also the Christian thing, because there can be no difference between the two. The right thing to do will always be the Christian thing to do, and the Christian thing to do will always be the right thing to do.
If I somehow think the right thing to do is not the Christian thing to do, then I am either confused about what is right or confused about Christianity, or both.
In this case, critics of the fire department are confused both about right and wrong and about Christianity. And it is because they have fallen prey to a weakened, feminized version of Christianity that is only about softer virtues such as compassion and not in any part about the muscular Christian virtues of individual responsibility and accountability."
No, not from the Onion. This is from the website of an avowed, insane christopath named Bryan Fischer, whose bio goes like this - "Bryan Fischer, formerly the executive director of the Idaho Values Alliance, is the host of the daily 'Focal Point' radio talk program on AFR Talk, a division of the American Family Association. 'Focal Point' airs live from 1-3 pm Central Time, and is also simulcast on the AFA Channel, which can be seen on the Sky Angel network."
Tools like this jackass are actually useful in understanding the true nature of the foul corruption known as contemporary christianity. In the screed linked to above he attempts to defend mercenary deeds with pseudo religious babble, and curiously uses black text on a black background, as if there might be more than a little backlash to his idiocy and he doesn't feel quite so muscular any more.

yeah, that was fucking insane-- both the black on black and the content. God, what a bunch of giant dildos we have in this country.
Did you read the comments? He was torn to shreds, for good reason.
It's absolutely hard to believe the mindset of this percentage of the population, it's like some sort of devolution process.
