Drama On Turkish TV AddsTo Rift With Israel

Set in Gaza, the show looks remarkably hard hitting. And with reports that around 900 children were killed during the Gaza slaughter last January, it's probably not far from the truth. But Israelis can't help but relying on their tired comeback whenever things get a little too close to the truth of their murderous ways.

Israel Objects to Turkish TV Show

"Israel's foreign minister has ordered ministry officials to summon Turkey's ambassador in Israel and protest to him over a Turkish TV series that reportedly portrays Israeli soldiers murdering innocent children. It is the latest twist in worsening relations between the two Mediterranean countries which have traditionally had close defense ties. The show graphically portrays Israeli soldiers shooting Palestinian children, including babies. Israeli commentators said the TV show is a new form of anti-Semitism, reports CBS News correspondent Robert Berger from Jerusalem."

added - War criminals may face arrest if they leave Israel

"Concerns of facing arrests in Europe shroud Israel's hawkish government as the Goldstone report on Gaza wins more support across the world. The Israeli government is reportedly considering limitations on its officials' travel to Europe fearing that they could be arrested over charges of committing war crimes during the Gaza war in January."
