Conservatives on Obama's stay-in-school speech: "Indoctrination," "brainwashing," Communist China, Hitler Youth

Actually, US public schools have been programming kids with ethnocentric, nationalistic propaganda since the early 1900s, merely by repeating the mantra "Freedom is what makes America Great", and using the exaggerated lie that any given foreign country that threatens American freedom should therefore be destroyed to convince Americans to enlist and fight.

American freedom is measured by wealth, so it is not really as great as they lead us to believe. After this, using an exaggerated threat against it is a form of propaganda which has become an imperial tactic that can be equated with fascism.

You know, I'm no fan at all of Obama and his cohorts, but childish and stupid nonsense like the criticism of him lecturing kids and other such contrived outrage is truly asinine. I guess I just despise the rethug slime so much I have a hard time sympathizing with anything that comes out of their filthy pieholes.

You're right about an agenda of indoctrinating kids from early on. Makes it an easy segue to invite the military on campuses too. Guess the repugnants don't want any competition from Obama in this regard.
