Sometime in the last decade I came across a JPL whistleblower who said that every lander was soon covered by what he labelled the "turtles", slow moving, hard shelled life forms.

I'm sure there is some cover-up-- that's what NASA does.
I remember you posted those pics before, but what is the source?
Those foliage pics are from Malin's big NASA data dump from several years ago, but I can't find a source for the Mariner photo, which is actually a different body of liquid on Mars than the one I posted before, also purported to be a Mariner shot.
