Big Backdoor Step To Curtail Civilian Gun Ownership

DOD Ends Sale of Expended Military Brass to Remanufacturers

"Now it has come clear...now we know what they intend to do.

It is an end-run around Congress. They don't need to try to ban guns--they don't need to fight a massive battle to attempt gun registration, or limit "assault" weapon sales.Nope. All they have to do is limit the amount of ammunition available to the civilian market, and when bullets dry up, guns will be useless."

Apparently the DoD has been instructed not to sell expended cartridges to manufacturers any more. The millions of brass casings that used to be reloaded for civilian use will now be shredded and sold as scrap metal, probably to China which is voracios in it's appetite for metal.

There's currently an ammunition shortage all across the country. Store shelves are bare and anything that arrives is immediately sold out. All the online suppliers are dry and everything is backordered. The reasons vary - the empire's endless conflicts, the rise of thousands of paramilitary units in the US, heavy pressure on manufacturers to cut back on production or a combination of the above and more. With this move we can now see the true intentions of our overlords. They don't have to pass legislation banning guns, all they have to do is make it impossible to obtain ammunition for them, and with time they become useless and innefective relics that pose no threat to their murderous aspirations.
