US Mideast envoy Mitchell postpones visit to Turkey
"The new US envoy for the Middle East, George Mitchell, has postponed a trip to Turkey that was scheduled to take place on Sunday as part of a regional tour aimed at shoring up the Gaza cease-fire and promoting Israeli-Palestinian peace, Turkish and US officials announced yesterday."
Why, you might ask?
"Some Turkish news outlets yesterday highlighted the "interesting timing" of the postponement, in apparent reference to the fact that the announcement by the US side came just hours after Erdoğan walked out of a panel discussion in Davos on Thursday evening after reprimanding Israeli President Shimon Peres over the Gaza offensive."

You would think that a country that likes to call itself the greatest country the world has ever known would be embarrassed to be another country's lapdog.
Happens over and over again, abi. The Israelis seem to relish our subservience.
I blame the MSM, which is constantly making anyone in the ME that opposes Israel look like cold-blooded murderers while giving any and all Israeli Jews a pat on the back for simply "defending themselves".
The US MSM is definitely NOT balanced when it comes to the news of this ongoing conflict, and all too many dumbed-down Americans believe it.
