"Barack Obama reported raising at least $10 million from more than 130,000 donors today after Palin, the Alaska governor, addressed the Republican National Convention in St. Paul, Minnesota, and criticized the Democratic presidential nominee."
Stocks tank — Dow ends day nearly 350 down
"The Dow fell 344.65, or 2.99 percent, to 11,188.23. It was the worst drop for the blue-chip index since June 26, when it fell more than 358 points, or 3.03 percent."
And what happened on June 26? Sarah Palin appeared on CNBC's Kudlow and Company and called for drilling in ANWR immediately.
Coincidence? I think not.
