Police use taser on blind woman with cancer
"DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Family members are angry and speaking out after Dayton police used a stun gun on a woman who is blind and suffering from cancer. Police said they were looking for a suspect when they knocked on Denise Harris's door Thursday morning. But according to both police and witnesses, things quickly got out of hand and Harris was tased.
"She was able to force herself down on to the floor and not be cooperative, grabbing on to the detective. A taser was dry stunned onto her arm to control her hand movement, then she was cuffed," said Sgt. Charles Anderson.
Her family said she was yelling at officers because she was scared. (...)
Harris is now facing charges for assault on a police officer and resisting arrest."
More and more it seems as though the cops have been told to use the tasers first and ask questions later, and have let them know there won't be any repercussions, even if they kill the tasee.
It also appears to be a countrywide phenomena which can only be interpreted as a policy of preemptive intimidation of the american people. Rather than chastize the thugs as they seem to seek out ever more pathetic victims to torture, departments couldn't care less what people think of this abuse and probably want these stories to get widespread coverage, as in "this is what you'll get if you fuck with us in any way at all."

Oh my gosh, that poor woman. The police should be apologizing profusely, volunteering to fix up her yard, something. But not arresting her. What about them assaulting her?
Maybe we should be doing something about some of these things you post, not just reading them. Like bamblasting those doing such injustices, their superiors, with handwritten letters, tons of them. What about it? How about a little action?
These cops are not the public servants they are supposed to be. They are vicious attack-dogs for ruling-class corporate fascists. The only way to put a stop to them is at the source; by tearing down the corporate castles that employ them and showing the ruling-class the bright light on the sharp guillotine awaiting their judgment.
Whenever this happens in a community, it is the people who need to storm the halls of city officials and demand this type of abuse be put to an end, tasers removed, and justice in the form of public hearings be brought to the forefront. Continuous public pressure is needed.
That and maybe a sign on every front door that says "Taser-free zone." Pull it out, and my rottweiler will clamp down on vulnerable parts of the human anatomy.

The fascists that hijacked the US govt and trashed the Constitution are laughing at the silly passive resistance to their power. The only thing they will ever understand is a taste of their own medicine.
No doubt they have one thing in common with the original forefathers; the idea that we must be willing to fight and die for our freedom. Problem is: they are the red-coats now.
It really is sad to say that it will take some very dead cops to stop this taser bullshit.
