More police state toys. This one will torture at distances guaranteeing that people will be shot in the face.

Protect Life? That's their motto?
Give a friggin break!
It should read "Protect Life by Hurting People" or "Protect Life by Putting People in the Hospital"
We need our own motto against the police state. "Protect Life aginst the Police State".

What does it actually do, Nolo? I didn't find the promotional website too informative. But I will withhold judgement until I have a better sense.
I'm not convinced the shift toward 'less-than-lethal' weapons is a bad thing. Set phasers on stun, I say.
The shotgun taser apparently does the same thing as pistol varieties, that is half electrocute the victim into convulsing submission. The problem with tasermania and "less lethal" weaponry is that tasers do kill and accepting use of these devices means an exponential use of these devices that make you vomit, deaf and burn you. And kill you.
