February 28, 1993

Federal agents of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms raided David Koresh and his Branch Davidian religious sect near Waco, Texas. Four agents and six church members are said to have been killed. 51 days later the church was stormed and burned by a combination of agents and police, while Delta Force shooters killed anyone trying to escape the flames. The man who almost started WW3, Wesley Clark, donated tanks from Fort Hood for the carnage.

The number of dead varies from 74 to 86 men, women and children.

If anyone hasn't seen Waco: The Rules Of Engagement I'd urge them to do so.
