Driving To Fukushima

A couple of guys take a geiger counter and a camera and travel through the evacuation zone right up near the stricken reactor complex. The people in the abandoned towns seem to have had to leave their pets and livestock behind.

These guys are seriously nuts! Amazing footage, but the dose of radiation they received at the end, over 100 microSieverts per hour, is about one tenth of the maximum dose for a year (1 mSv/yr)...

Yup, I agree they had to be nuts to do that but I admire them for being real journalists in getting first hand information out to the public.
